Conan O’Brien and Jack White Rock Out in Nashville, Promise Vinyl Release of Live Recording

On Wednesday, the Net got all a-fluster when a video popped up online of White Stripes/Dead Weather front-man Jack White posting a flyer advertising that Conan O’Brien would be doing something mysterious at White’s Third Man Records the following evening. As it turns out, the duo merely jammed out a couple of cover tunes, but as they revealed at the show, the jam will soon be pressed on some extremely limited-edition vinyl. (More after the jump.)

As the front-man for seminal UK pop group Orange Juice, Edwyn Collins established himself as an immensely important songwriter. Since going solo, Collins has released six proper full-lengths, as well as the 2002 collection A Casual Introduction. Showing no signs of slowing down at age 50, he’s just announced another solo effort. (More after the jump.)
