Elvis is busy in NYC right now, no surprise, the man tends toward a brisk pace of performance and productivity and NYC is the perfect foil. To wit: On Tuesday he performed at the Celeste Bartos Forum in the New York Public Library, and on 11/15 he’ll return to Fallon, to do “Stations Of The Cross” with the Roots. And just last night he returned to Colbert for a Q&A, a performance of “A Slow Drag With Josephine,” and another duet with Stephen, this time on the Everly Bros. “All I Have To Do Is Dream.” Those Colbert videos are below, as is a clip of Declan’s father Ross McManus, singing and playing hand percussion with the Joe Loss Orchestra in 1964, a clip we dug up via the recent New Yorker profile about how Elvis travels with so many atrocious hats. Ross didn’t pass on any malevolent headwear genes, but as far as singing voice and eyewear, the apple didn’t fall far from the conga. Watch ’em all:
